It was very interesting and interactive, accessible to all levels of wine knowledge. The staff was very dedicated to ensure everyone would get the best of their experience. And the wine is really high quality.
The landscapes that you can appreciate from the boat are incredible!! António is a great expert on the region and the wines, very friendly and helpful. We had a great time!

As a chef and baker visiting from California, I have been to my fair share of tastings, but our experience at Caves São João was on another level entirely. A massive part of that was Sandra. Her "full service" approach wasn't just about pouring wine; it was an incredible deep dive into the history of the cellars and the technical artistry of their classic vintages. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and attentive, making the entire tour feel personal and professional.I’m leaving with a select few bottles that I can't wait to share back home, and I am especially looking forward to indulging in the vineyard’s olive oil—as a chef, finding high-quality, estate-grown oil like this is always a highlight. If you are looking for an authentic, world-class wine experience in Portugal, ask for Sandra!

recorrimos el Palacio que es espectacular, muy buena la explicacion de la guia que nos permitio vislumbrar como se vivia en los años del 1600-1800Cuando fuimos a la bodega nos atendio el enologo, le agradezco muchisimo su dedicacion que nos permitio conocer sus vinos y en general saber un poco mas de los vinos de Dao
A visita foi maravilhosa . Os vinhos muito bons e o almoço fabuloso. Fomos muito bem atendidos por todos. A casa onde foi servido o almoço era muito acolchegante. Valeu muito a experiência. Recomendo a todos .
