Located in Alenquer, in the heart of the Lisbon Wine Region, Quinta do Anjo extends over 120 hectares, surrounding a 17th-century manor house adjacent to a traditional winery.
The story goes that the wine produced here two centuries ago was so outstanding in the region that it was worth more Pintos, the gold coin in circulation during the reign of King João V. It should be added that Mr Pinto was once a charismatic steward of this property. Since then, the estate has been referred to in the region as 'the Pinto'. A happy coincidence, Pinto is also the surname of the current owners.
Discover the Pinto Estate on a guided tour, which will begin with a jeep ride through the vineyards, planted in such a way as to create the illusion that they are a branch of the house structure and winery, in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape. The second part of the visit will take place in the winery, which follows the winemaking philosophy, favoring minimal intervention and careful handling to capture the maximum potential of the grapes.
At the end of the visit, you will enjoy a regional lunch, prepared with typical products of the region and paired with Quinta do Pinto wines.
