Opened in 2017 to welcome visitors from around the world, the estate combines authenticity with modern comfort, making you feel right at home.
This experience features a lunch that celebrates the region’s genuine flavors, paired with a selection of Churchill’s wines. Weather permitting, lunch is served in the Orange Tree Patio, overlooking the Douro Valley. Otherwise, it takes place in the traditional farmhouse kitchen, preserved with wooden beam ceilings and the original stone oven.
Before or after lunch, enjoy a guided tour of Quinta da Gricha, walking through the vineyards and visiting the historic house built in 1852, home to the estate’s unique granite “lagares”. Along the way, you will learn about the importance of the terroir and the grape varieties used in Churchill’s winemaking. The experience concludes with a tasting of 3 wines.
