Quinta do Vesuvio, acquired by the Symington family in 1989, comprises seven hills and thirty-one valleys. Some of the highest points are over 500 metres, offering breathtaking panoramic views. The property has a total area of 326 hectares, 133 of which are planted with vineyards. The remaining two thirds of the property have been kept in a wild state or are occupied by other crops: olive groves and fruit, nuts and aromatic herbs.
