Located in Sobral de Monte Agraço, in the Lisbon Wine Region, Quinta do Cerrado da Porta is a small family-run business. Perhaps this is what gives it the freedom to produce wines "out of the box", which draw from the soil and climate all the potential of a region privileged by its clay-limestone soils, slopes between 200 and 300 meters of altitude, cold nights, morning mists and the permanent action of the Atlantic winds.
Currently, Quinta do Cerrado da Porta commercializes 4 brands: Troviscal is the entry range of the Quinta's wines, Peripécia, destined exclusively to varietal wines of prestigious French grape varieties; the Capicua brand, which offers dessert wines, fortified wines and late harvests, and the Quinta do Cerrado da Porta brand, destined to quality sparkling wines.
We invite you to discover Quinta do Cerrado da Porta and to participate in a private guided tour, with the owner or winemaker, who will guide the tour telling the history of the winery. The tour will begin with a short stroll through the garden to appreciate the magnificent surrounding panorama. This will be followed by a visit to the winery, with a detailed explanation of the production methods used. At the end, in the tasting room, or, if weather allows, in an adjacent pergola outside, you will savor a tasting of 12 wines, accompanied by salt and water biscuits, dried fruit and dark chocolate.
