Quinta de Sant'Ana

Situated 12 km from the Atlantic coast and 30 minutes north of Lisbon, lies Quinta de Sant’Ana. This romantic Quinta, owned by Ann and James Frost, dates back to 1633 and has been home to the family for the past 30 years.

We are devoted to four activities: the production of high-quality wines, hosting our guests in charming country houses, organizing tailor-made events and our most recent project - organic flower production.

Quinta de Sant’Ana benefits from a unique, coastal microclimate, producing white wines with vibrant acidity, intriguing salinity and an oceanic minerality, alongside elegant red wines with impressive aging potential.
With the help of award-winning Consultant Winemaker António Maçanita, the owner James Frost has completed in 2018 the conversion to organic wine production and is at this point reaping the benefits of healthier soils and 12 hectares of sustainable vineyards. As a family business, Ann and James and their seven sons manage the estate with endless charm and character.
