About the Activity
Located in Sabrosa, in the heart of the Douro Valley, The Manor House is an independent, family-owned Portuguese estate that has embraced the Boutique Winery concept. Dedicated to the production of Douro DOC wines, special category Port Wines, and Moscatel, it is rooted in a century-old property traditionally linked to Port wine, now evolving with a contemporary and internationally oriented profile.

The experience includes a guided visit to the estate, with access to the cellars and the building designed by architect Álvaro Siza Vieira. The tour covers the aging areas for Douro and Port wines, the boutique shop, and the auditorium. The visit concludes with a guided tasting of three estate wines, followed by a five course “Farm to Table” menu paired with house wines, in a relaxed setting that highlights regional gastronomy and the identity of the Douro.

The available time slots for the guided visits are as follows:
April to October: 10:30 am | 11:30 am | 02:30 pm | 03:30 pm | 04:30 pm
November to March: 10:30 am | 11:30 am | 02:30 pm | 03:30 pm

The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays. The lunch period is from 12:30 pm to 02:00 pm.
