About the Activity
Monte da Raposinha is a family-owned estate located in Montargil, in the district of Portalegre, in the northern part of the Alentejo region. Situated about 500 meters downstream from the Montargil dam, the property covers 150 hectares, of which 15 are dedicated to vineyards, set within a landscape defined by tranquility and proximity to the water.

The experience begins with a walk through the vineyards, offering insight into the grape varieties cultivated on the estate and their adaptation to the local terroir. This is followed by a visit to the winery, where the production methods and the philosophy behind the Monte da Raposinha project are presented.

The program concludes with a tasting of the estate’s wines, allowing guests to discover the style and identity of the wines produced. The entire visit and tasting are guided by a member of the winemaking team, ensuring a close and informative experience throughout.
