About the Activity

The Honrado wine project was created by a father and son who share a deep passion for the Alentejo and for traditional Amphora Wine. Produced by hand in Vila de Frades, the Capital of Amphora Wine, it follows Roman winemaking methods that have been preserved for over two thousand years.

This experience is designed for those seeking a more complete and authentic immersion. It begins at the Cella Vinaria Antiqua Museum Winery with an introduction to the history of Amphora Wine and a guided tasting of Honrado Amphora Wine. In a setting rich in heritage and tradition, you will discover the unique character of Honrado wines and how they reflect the local terroir.

The experience continues at the traditional restaurant País das Uvas, where you will enjoy a three part regional meal that celebrates the essence of the local cuisine. A cultural and gastronomic journey that brings together wine, history, and tradition.
