Honrado Wine was born from a family project that unites father and son, two distinct yet complementary profiles.
Rúben Honrado, the son, passionate about design and marketing, has travelled the world, discovering new cultures and ways of thinking.
António Honrado, the father, manager of the emblematic restaurant País das Uvas and Amphora Wine producer for over fifteen years, takes pride in his Alentejo roots and in all that this land has taught him.

Their union gave rise to Honrado Amphora Wine, a project that combines a contemporary image with deep respect for the history, culture and tradition of the Alentejo.

Produced by hand, it follows the ancient Roman technique of fermenting grapes in clay amphorae, preserved for more than two thousand years and passed down from generation to generation.

Based in Vila de Frades, known as the Capital of Amphora Wine, Honrado Vineyards draws inspiration from the Roman Ruins of São Cucufate, whose silhouette appears in the company logo, symbolising the origins and authenticity that define this wine.
