About the Activity
Founded in 1808, Adega Viúva Gomes is located in the heart of the Colares wine region, between the Sintra Mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. This unique landscape preserves a remarkable terroir, shaped by sandy soils, ungrafted vines and the geological diversity of the Lisboa region. The traditional cellar reflects a long-standing heritage and the authentic character of Colares wines.

This private experience begins with a guided visit that explores the history of the estate and the uniqueness of its vineyards and winemaking traditions. The tour concludes with an exclusive tasting of six wines, four IG Lisboa references, Patrão Diogo White and Red and Viúva Gomes Viticultores White and Red, and two DOC Colares references, Viúva Gomes White and Red.

With the support of an experienced team, you will delve into viticulture, winemaking techniques and the sensory profile that defines these distinctive and rare wines. An educational experience that reveals the true identity of Colares.
