Paxá Wines - Tour & Premium Tasting

Founded in 2008 by Joaquim Lopes and his son Tiago, Paxá Wines is the realization of a long-standing passion to increase the potential of the Algarve wine region. Part of Quinta do Outeiro, Paxa Wines is located to the south of Silves, a historic town with many wine-growing references, and extends over an area of 12 hectares of vineyards, planted in a terroir of clay-limestone soil, influenced by its proximity to the sea, its exposure to the sun, and its microclimate.

We invite you to visit Paxa Wines and take part in a guided tour, which will start in the winery, where the production processes of Paxá wines are revealed, as well as their history. This will be followed by a pleasant walk through the vineyard to the hill, where the tasting room is located, inside a typical house, that is over 80 years old. At the end of the visit, you'll take part in a tasting of 6 premium wines, accompanied by a board of regional products.
