Casa Lata - Vinhos Verdes Workshop

Located in the heart of Minho, Casa Lata – Agrotourism sits on a 3.6-hectare rural property in Amares, between Braga and the Peneda-Gerês National Park. Once a traditional Minho farmhouse, it preserves the memory of agricultural life through elements such as the granary, wine press, alembic, and numerous traditional tools. The décor maintains the charm of earlier times, with the former winery, now the living room, still showcasing the original stone “lagar.”

This experience offers an immersion into the world of Vinho Verde through a guided tour of the property and the winery, now equipped to produce up to 600,000 liters of wine. Throughout the visit, you will discover the processes behind white, rosé, red, and sparkling wines, gaining insight into their unique identity and characteristics.

The program concludes with a tasting of three wines and a sparkling wine, paired with regional snacks that highlight the flavors of Minho.
