About the Activity
Since 1931, Adega de Colares has been vinifying its members' grapes, preserving a unique wine-growing heritage and playing an essential role in the Sintra region. The historic building, imposing and steeped in tradition, is one of the greatest symbols of the Colares Demarcated Region.

On the Deluxe Tour experience, you will be welcomed by the wine tourism responsible for a guided tour of the production area, where you will learn, in detail, about the viticulture and oenology practices of Adega de Colares.

The experience ends in our emblematic wine cellar with a guided tasting of 4 wines.

A unique opportunity to discover the historic wines of Colares and understand the uniqueness of this region.

Wines for tasting: DOC Colares wines (Malvasia white & Ramisco red) and Argilas de Colares IG Lisboa wines (white and red). 

Extras:
  • Buttery cheese: €10.30 per person;
  • Traditional charcuterie: €8.20 per person;
  • "Queijadas" or "Travesseiros de Sintra" (Regional traditional pastries): €8.20 per person.

Note: The extras are individual and 1 per person should be selected. Each extra selected must correspond to the number of people included in the booking. 
Cancellation policy
Before 2 weeks from the booking date: 100% refund of the amount paid;
2 weeks before the booking date and up to 48 hours in advance: 60% of the amount paid will be charged and 40% retained (this amount can be used up to 2 weeks later);
48 hours in advance and no-show: no refund.

    “Amazing winery!” The guided tour of the winery with the winemaker was fascinating.
    The two Colares DOC wines tasted at the wine tasting were excellent. After the tour and tasting, we drove independently to the traditional sand vineyards.
