Santar, in the heart of the Dão region, holds within itself an ancient history, where wine appears as the main actor of multiple events that made this town unique, noble and singular. Here is located the imposing Paço dos Cunhas and the secular cellar of Casa de Santar Vinhos.
This programme invites you to a complete experience, starting at the historical Paço dos Cunhas estate, one of the most important noble houses in Portugal, and the mythical Vinha do Contador.
Leaving the village, you will plunge into the vastness of the vineyards surrounding the Casa de Santar winery, by jeep, with a climb to the Vinha dos Amores, to contemplate one of the largest patches of vineyards in the region, with an obligatory stop at the centenary cork oak. At the end, you will participate in a wine tasting, where we have chosen the Casa de Santar Reserva White and Casa de Santar Reserve Red, accompanied by the Beira gastronomic experience, called "Tábua Nobre", prepared by our Chef.
