With a breathtaking view of the Douro River and Tedo River, Quinta do Val Moreira has 23 hectares dedicated to the production of Port and Douro wines, 2 hectares of olive groves, and 2 hectares of almonds.

We invite you to visit Quinta do Val Moreira, where you will get to know a bit more about the history of this centenary property. After the tasting, there will be a lunch composed of 3 moments at a restaurant near Quinta do Val Moreira, where you will relish the best traditional Douro flavors, accompanied by Val Moreira wines.

Portuguese visits: 12:30 pm (this timetable does not take place during the month of September, due to harvest activities) and 04:30 pm.
English visits: 10:30 am, 11:30 am, 02:30 pm and 03:30 pm.

Notes
The experience is not available from January to mid-February.
Availability on Mondays is subject to prior confirmation.

    “Prova de vinhos e almoco” A prova de vinhos foi muito agradável, tivemos a sorte de ter um guia local que fazia vinho com o avó e portanto tinha conhecimento de causa e não de uma narrativa.

    As paisagem do Douro neste local é lindíssima!.

    O almoço foi horrível !
    Entrada caldo verde - muita batata, mal se via couve e para não falar do chouriço que era inexistente.
    Prato principal: porco grelhado com 2 batatas tipo à murro e esparregado. Apresentação muito fraca, a confeção era banal, fazíamos o mesmo em casa sem grande esforço. Sobremesa, simples mas até foi aceitável, um pastel com gelado. Uma garrafa de vinho branco e outra de tinto, de qualidade aceitável.

    Resumindo, já tive muito melhor experiencia com o “prato do dia” onde paguei €10 ao invés deste almoço que ficou por cerca de €35 por pessoa (uma vez que o pacote foi a €50 pp, online a prova de vinhos está anunciada a €15. Dai que digo que o almoço ficou por €35).

    “Almoço + degustacao de vinhos” O almoço é legal, estava meio sem sal mas valeu a experiência, o restaurante e a vista sao lindos, o serviço foi otimo e estava incluso 2 vinhos val moreira e 2 aguas grandes (com gas e sem gas).
    O almoco foi as 13hrs e a degustacao as 16h30 (porque queriamos em portugues) entao acabou que ficamos com um tempo livre durante a tarde.
    A degustacao é bem legal, sao 4 vinhos do porto e a responsavel vai explicando tudo sobre eles.
    A visita é apenas na adega, nao passa pelo vinhedo e areas externas, entao ela eh bem curtinha.     Victoria, 22 ago 2024

    Já o almoço, o prato principal, estava impróprio para consumo cheirando toda ela mal.
