Ribafreixo Wines is a wine project covering 114 hectares, located in Vidigueira, one of the Alentejo’s most historic wine areas, shaped by more than two thousand years of winemaking tradition. At the highest point of Herdade do Moinho Branco, the winery stands out for its contemporary architecture, spacious interiors filled with natural light, and a 4,000 m² bioclimatic building designed to take advantage of gravity throughout every stage of production.
The vineyards express the diversity and identity of the project, led by the Antão Vaz grape variety, alongside Arinto, Verdelho, Síria, and Alvarinho. A unique parcel in Portugal is dedicated to Chenin Blanc, complemented by red varieties such as Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Miúda, and Aragonez.
The experience begins with a guided visit to the estate and vineyards, offering insight into the philosophy and terroir of Ribafreixo Wines. The tour concludes at the winery with a guided tasting of three wines. After the tasting, you will enjoy a regional à la carte lunch at the winery restaurant, paired with Ribafreixo wines, in a moment designed to savor flavors, landscape, and tranquility.
