Quinta da Torre is located in Monção, a sub-region protected from the ocean winds by the mountains, where whites of excellence originate. Acquired by Anselmo Mendes in 2016, this is a property full of memories of other times, where the winemaker is dedicated to producing wines that reflect the authenticity of the terroir and the richness of the surrounding nature.

Today, the estate has its own space dedicated to wine tourism, making it the perfect starting point for a unique and immersive experience in the history of the Monção and Melgaço sub-region. It is in this unique place that you will taste the wines that reflect the essence of Anselmo Mendes, the "Senhor Alvarinho", who is distinguished by his close and faithful connection to the land, his curious and experimental spirit, as well as his respect for the ecosystem.

Here you can see a house almost 600 years old, granaries dating back to the 17th century and millinery olive trees. You'll have the opportunity to visit the Alvarinho Experience Centre, a winery whose wines were exported to England and Northern Europe in the 16th century and a rare garden of white grape varieties from all over the world.
