About the Activity
Located at the left bank of Douro river, in Ervedosa, Quinta de Ventozelo is one of the most beautiful and impressive wine estate from this region. It is known as “Douro’s silent doors”, where time seems to go by slower. Tranquillity and connection to nature are the main focus of this wine house.

Gran Cruz, Quinta do Ventozelo’s owner since 2014, looks forward to increasing the value of the property by betting on the production of olive oil, wine tourism and nature tourism.

On this experience, we invite you to have lunch at Quinta de Ventozelo’s restaurant, Cantina de Ventozelo. The menu includes traditional products from Douro and Trás-os-Montes. By the esplanade, looking at Quinta de Ventozelo and Douro river, food has new flavour!

Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the date of the experience. After this period, or, in the event of a no-show, there will be no refund.

    We had soup, smoked trout, porco dishes and bolo for dessert and everything was exquisite.
    Our sommelier, Marcos from Mendoza Argentina, was delightful and knew every wine of the region and was happy to chat and share his impressive knowledge. He recommended the Loci wine which was deep and a blend of five grapes with beautiful depth and charm.
    The setting was idillic on the terrace overlooking the vines.
    We wish to come back time and time again!
