About the Activity
Quinta da Plansel was born out of an endeavor by its founder, Jörg Böhm, when his sailing boat was shipwrecked in Cascais harbor in 1961. Forced to stay here for a while, he ended up getting to know and surrendering to different Portuguese landscapes. And so, in 1975, he bought the first vineyard plots and set up Viveiros Plansel. The passion for wine and Portugal would eventually infect the whole family in the early 90s.

We invite you to immerse yourself in a perfect symbiosis between nature and regional gastronomy, in a traditional picnic filled with Alentejo wines and snacks. Take along your picnic basket, prepared with you in mind, and enjoy the perfect setting for a stroll through the vineyards to our Chapel.
