About the Activity
Located in Lamego, Quinta da Pacheca is one of the most emblematic estates in the Douro region, renowned for its deep connection to the valley’s history, tradition, and distinctive character. Surrounded by century-old vineyards, granite “lagares” and terraced landscapes, the estate offers an authentic yet contemporary experience that reveals the essence of the Douro.

The activity begins with a guided tour of the vineyards and production areas, including the “lagares”, the winery, the cellar, and the shop. Afterwards, guests will enjoy a guided tasting of four wines: two DOC Douro and two Port Wines, selected to showcase the richness and diversity of this iconic region.

A sensory experience that celebrates the aromas and flavours that define the Douro as one of the world’s most remarkable wine regions.

    “Wonderful tasting at Quinta da Pacheca” Sara, the tour guide for the group we were in, was a wonderful “embassador” for the Quinta, as well as sharing her knowledge of the wine growing and wine making at the Quinta.
