About the Activity
Quinta da Pacheca, located in Lamego, is one of the most iconic estates in the Douro region, known for its deep connection to the valley’s history and winemaking tradition. Surrounded by century-old vineyards, granite “lagares” and the emblematic terraced landscape, the estate offers an authentic expression of the Douro’s character.

The experience begins with a guided tour of the vineyards and production areas, including the “lagares”, the winery and the shop. Afterward, guests enjoy a tasting of four wines — two DOC Douro and two Port Wines — selected to highlight the diversity and richness of this historic region. The experience continues with a regional lunch, chosen by the Chef, inspired by traditional Douro gastronomy and paired with Quinta da Pacheca wines.

A perfect blend of wine, gastronomy and tradition, set in the heart of the Douro.

    “Excelente visita com almoço demorado” A visita foi muito boa. O guia, Hugo, de grande simpatia e conhecimento sobre o processo. A degustaçao foi um dos pontos fortes do evento.

    Quanto ao almoço tivemos um longo tempo de espera durante o serviço. Todo o processo foi bastante demorado, passamos 3:30 para refeição, com grande intervalo de tempo entre os pratos.

De toda a experiência o que ficou um pouco a baixo da expectativa foi mesmo a visita.     “Degustação mediana e jantar excelente ” Fizemos a degustação dos vinhos às 15:30hs. Penso que os vinhos apresentados não me fizeram empolgar pelos vinhos da Quinta, por isso não comprei nenhum na loja.

    O jantar foi excelente, tanto a comida quanto os vinhos.
