About the Activity
Learn about the art and science of winemaking during a visit to Howard’s Folly Urban Winery, accompanied by the winery’s winemaking team, in a modern and relaxed setting.

During the visit, you will follow the main stages of the process, from the arrival of the grapes to the analysis of the wines in tanks and barrels, including bottling and labeling. The conversation with the winemaker highlights the importance of blending, using grapes from old vines, as well as the growing conditions that give these wines their distinctive character.

The experience includes a wine tasting accompanied by regional cheeses and cured meats, allowing you to discover the characteristics of Alentejo grape varieties. After the visit, a selection of petiscos will be served at the winery’s restaurant, paired with four wines from the Sonhador and Alvarinho range.

A well-balanced experience that combines learning, flavor, and authenticity, ideal for exploring Alentejo wines in a contemporary urban setting.
