About the Activity
Arvad was founded in 2016 on a property along the banks of the Arade River, overlooking Silves, in the Algarve region. The twelve hectares benefit from cool northern winds, creating strong daily temperature variations within a Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence and limestone-clay soils rich in history.

In our wine tourism program, each visit takes you through the passage of time and the dedication behind our harvest. This is a place that can be tasted, revealing its own narrative of flavor during vineyard walks or boat rides along the Arade River.

The “Prova da Palavra” experience invites you to enjoy a guided tour of our vineyards and winery, followed by a tasting of 3 "colheita" wines (white, red, and rosé) plus 1 premium wine, served with regional bread, cheese, and olive oil.

Surrounded by amphorae and views of the Arade River, discover our wines and savor the enduring character of this Phoenician-inspired Algarve.
