About the Activity
This is the perfect tour to explore the Douro Wine Region.

After the pick-up at your accommodation, we will head towards Régua where this amazing tour will begin.

This region has been shaped by human action, for wine production, since the Roman times and in 1756 became one of the first regulated and demarcated wine regions in the world by the hand of Marquês de Pombal one of the most important figures in the history of Portugal. On the year of 2001, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Aboard a 4×4 vehicle, you will be crossing the scenic hills and vineyards. For lunch, you can choose between a picnic in a place with superb views or a lunch at a local estate. After lunch, there will be time to visit an estate, where you will have the opportunity to learn a little more about the Port wine making process. At the end of the visit, you will be invited to taste different types of Port wine produced there.

By going deep inside the vineyards, you will be able to feel all the intensity of this magical place... there are no doubts that this is a great way to get to know the Douro Valley – UNESCO World Heritage Site!

    “Increíble tour” Hacer el tour por el valle del Douro con Joao fue una gran experiencia. El viaje en todoterreno fue una oportunidad para estar realmente en medio de los viñedos.
