About the Activity
Come visit Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, located in Sabrosa, Vila Real, in the heart of Douro Valley, currently one of the biggest wine tourism references in Portugal, with a history of more than 250 years.

This experience starts on the vineyards, where the wine tourists visit the winery dated from 1764, the Wine Museum, the barrel’s room and the underground cellar where we age the best lots selected by Amorim family. 

End the tour in a panoramic place, with a tasting of 4 wines that reflect the dialogue between the Douro and the Dão, creating perfect harmony.

    “Spectacular Wine Experience” What a location, gorgeous, and well worth finding this winery. We came out on the train and were picked up at the small, rugged, somewhat scary station. Once up in the hills at the winery, the location and buildings are simply magnificent. We did the tour, saw the museum, enjoyed the restaurant and Inn just walking around the grounds and the chapel.
