Boas Quintas
Amid the green slopes of the Dão region, Sociedade Agrícola Boas Quintas was founded in 1991: the dream of Nuno Cancela de Abreu, a winemaker and heir to four generations dedicated to vineyards and wine. With over 130 years of family tradition, he decided to transform this legacy into a personal project, where each wine expresses character, authenticity, and the soul of the land.
Today, visitors to Boas Quintas are invited to step into this world: 8 hectares of vineyards steeped in history and a modern winery, nestled in the tranquil Quinta da Giesta in Mortágua. Here, time slows down and wine takes on a new meaning.
Guided tours take visitors through the vineyard (weather permitting) and the winemaking center, revealing in a relaxed manner how a wine is born: from the vineyard to the vats, the care taken with every detail is revealed. At the end, a guided wine tasting allows visitors to discover the stories that bring each bottle to life.
