Torre de Palma - Wine Blending Workshop

Dating back to 1338, Torre de Palma Wine Hotel was born in 2014, inspired by the way of life of the distinguished Basilii family (former inhabitants of the nearby Roman ruins of Torre de Palma), and by the Alentejo traditions, to be their home in Alentejo.

A boutique hotel in the heart of the Alentejo wine region could not exist without its own identity: wine production and, along with it, wine tourism. The winery, that rises in the Herdade de Torre de Palma as a magical space, is the ex-libris of the culture around wine. We combine the gastronomy and the wines of the region to provide experiences where the Alentejo traditions stand out, we include local producers and promote the products of this wine region.

We invite you to participate in the Wine Blending experience. You will be challenged to elaborate a blend to your liking, with wine from different deposits and barrels of the Torre de Palma Winery. At the end, you will personalize your label, taking home a completely personalized wine. 

This activity also includes a guided tour to the Torre de Palma winery, with an explanation and analysis of the wines and different varieties to create the best blend.
