About the Activity
Discover Quinta do Seixo, owned by Sogrape and located in the Cima-Corgo at the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travelling along the Douro River from Régua to Pinhão, the estate stands out for its seventeenth-century heritage and its contemporary design winery, perfectly framed by terraced schist vineyards and stunning views over the river and the village of Pinhão.

The experience begins with a guided visit to the winery, wine cellar and robotic “lagares”, enhanced by multimedia elements that illustrate every stage of the winemaking process. The visit concludes with a tasting of five Casa Ferreirinha Douro DOC wines, each expressing the character, elegance, and authenticity of the Douro.

A memorable experience for those who wish to deepen their understanding of the region while enjoying one of its most iconic landscapes.

    A visita foi muito bem organizada e a guia foi excelente, explicando tudo de forma muito clara e interessante. A paisagem é lindíssima e os vinhos são muito bons.

    No entanto, senti que faltou um pouco de essência à experiência. Esperava uma visita mais envolvente e acolhedora, que transmitisse mais o lado humano e a história da quinta. Para o valor da experiência, esperava sair com uma ligação mais especial ao lugar.

    “Wonderful view” This is such an impressive winery for architecture lovers. The tasting room is beautiful! The views are stunning and one of the most amazing wineries I have visited in the world.
    The ports were excellent, especially when paired with the incredible view.
