The Correia de Sequeira family was a pioneer in rural tourism in the Douro, opening the doors of their Quintas to visitors in 1993.

At Quinta das Sequeirinhas, located in the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region, on the Port Wine Route (National Road 222), you can follow all the stages of Port Wine production in stone wine presses, and discover the secrets of nature enjoying the tranquillity and mild climate, with hot summers and mild winters, among vineyards, olive, and almond trees.

To welcome travellers from all over the world, the Sequeiras pick the best from their vineyards and orchards.

This is how these attractive Port and Douro wines are born and perfected by Rita Sequeira, from a selection of the best and most traditional local grape varieties. The purest Douro Virgin Olive Oil is also created, as well as tempting jams made with the most succulent fruit of the season, using old family recipes.

The aim is to live the rhythms of farming, get to know the origin and taste the farm's seasonal products. Here you can discover the rich Douro gastronomy and culture: taste the elegant still wines of the Douro and the famous Port wines.

Through courses and tastings, you will get to know every secret of the wines, in the company of the oenologist, and you will discover the typical Portuguese flavours of a traditional farm kitchen, with old recipes refined in the family over generations.
