About the Activity
Discover Quinta do Panascal, located in Valença do Douro, Tabuaço, one of Fonseca's main estates, which in 1992 was one of the first properties in the Douro to open its doors to visitors.

The educational audio tour allows visitors to have direct contact with the vineyard located in the Távora valley, to enter the centuries-old wine presses on the estate, and also to enjoy the paradisiacal setting. 

In the drawing room, from which you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, you'll take part in a commented tasting of 3 Port wines (Siroco Dry White, Bin 27 and Fonseca 10 Year Old Tawny Port).

Delight in the best flavours of the Douro, while contemplating the beauty of the Távora valley and enjoying an excellent Fonseca nectar.

This self-guided audio-tour allows visitors in their own time to visit the vineyards and is available in 9 languages: Portuguese, English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Danish and Japanese.

    Tenía unas vistas estupendas, las terrazas son increíbles y el vino de Oporto era muy bueno. El personal era impresionante, amable e informativo.

    “Beautiful Views and Port Tasting” Have a bit of a uphill walk when arriving at the facility but the grounds and views from the patio are beautiful. The port wine is very nice and its neat to see some of the old foot stomping vats for the traditional production of the wines. We wish they had been able to ship back to states but we did walk out with some of the Siroco with makes a great port tonic. Wesley, 27 jan 2020
