About the Activity

We will be waiting for you at the Ervideira Wine Lounge, next to the Ervideira winery and, in the first stage, we will take a tour of the winery that will give you a behind the scenes look at Ervideira and the entire production process.

Secondly, we will return to the Ervideira Wine Lounge and begin the tasting of 5 Ervideira wines, accompanied by Alentejo toasts with olive oil and oregano.

Lastly, it's time to enjoy the picnic basket with all that you need – bread, goat and sheep cheeses, black pork charcuterie, traditional and seasonal jam, pies, fruit, some dry sweet cookies, water, and a bottle of wine of your choice (juice for the kids).

To take the best of this picnic, we have some spots and places that we can recommend to you, like our balcony, near the vineyards or even a place that stays about 1 km from the Ervideira Wine Lounge, but with a very special view and around landscape.

“Degustação e piquenique ” Só tenho coisas boas a apontar, lugar maravilhoso, super acolhedor com uma vista que é um esplendor! Começamos com uma visita a adega e a zona de produção dos vinhos passando pela cave e enchimento e rotulagem dos vinhos! Já na Wine Shop degustamos vários vinhos de maior parte da gama acompanhado com umas tostas de pão torrado com azeite e orégãos! A parte do piquenique foi o rematar da experiência com uma cesta repleta de coisas boas, bolinhos típicos, dois queijos, dois tipos de chouriço, umas empadas o belo do panito alentejano um pote de doce de uva que é de chorar por mais uma garrafa de água e como não podia deixar de ser uma garrafa de vinho, que por incrível que é pode ser qualquer um a nossa escolha, caímos para o lado do Branco Conde d’Ervideira Reserva 2023, que é um dos melhores vinhos brancos que provei este ano! “Não é exatamente um piquenique!” Não tendo sido a minha primeira experiência de piquenique em adegas, confesso que fiquei bastante decepcionada quando chegamos e não fomos encaminhados para um sítio na grama, ao pé de um lago ou com uma boa vista das vinhas e uma toalha jogada ao chão. Esse é o meu ideal de piquenique, o que imagino para um momento agradável em família. Tivemos a opção de nos deslocarmos mais 30 minutos de carro, até Monsaraz para ter alguma vista, o que não me pareceu viável, ou ficar na varanda da sala principal de provas, onde também são conduzidas provas. As fotos que vemos aqui são desse local, na varanda, a toalha é colocada em uma mesa e o momento piquenique é partilhado com outras pessoas sentadas em outras mesas, fazendo provas em sua maioria. A par disso, o staff da adega foi bastante simpático e atencioso e os vinhos brancos principalmente foram surpreendentes. Monica S P Cunha, 01 out 2024

“ Would return without a second thought!” A very knowledgeable guide who made the visit very interesting and funny, the wines tasted were delicious (we guiltlessly brought home 3 bottles, all of them wonderful), and the products that made up the picnic were of quality and full of flavours. “Graet experience and wine tasting” We visited the Adega on 4th December and enjoyed a really interesting tour with our lovely guide Ruth, who speaks several languages very well and is very knowledgeable about wines and wine production.
