Located in Tomar, in the Tejo Wine Region, Adega da Gaveta is part of the Margaval Vinhos project, inspired by a family tradition rooted in sharing and conviviality around wine. The name pays tribute to grandfather Zé and to informal gatherings in the winery, where there was always something to snack on kept in the drawer of a wooden table, a symbol that remains to this day.
With a philosophy based on organic production and minimal intervention, Adega da Gaveta seeks to express in an authentic way the identity of the Tejo region and the Tomar subregion, allowing the wine to faithfully reflect what the grapes and the land provide.
The Harvest Program invites participants to experience the most emblematic moment of the year up close. The day begins in the morning at the winery, with the delivery of a T-shirt and hat, followed by a Jeep Defender ride to the vineyard. Alongside the Margaval team, guests actively take part in the grape harvest, with a midmorning break for the traditional snack. After a relaxed, shared lunch, the afternoon is dedicated to a guided visit to the winery, learning about the winemaking process, and participating in grape stomping. The experience ends with a guided tasting of bottled wines, accompanied by regional products.
An authentic experience that brings together tradition, vineyard work, and the celebration of wine.
