The day begins with pick-up at Sá Carneiro Airport, your hotel or in the center of Porto, where you will be welcomed by a chauffeur specializing in wine tourism. On board a top-of-the-range vehicle with Wi-Fi, you will enjoy comfort and tranquility as you head towards the Bairrada Region, located between the districts of Aveiro and Coimbra, about 100 km from Porto.

The first experience of the day takes place at the Aliança Underground Museum, a unique setting where wine meets art and heritage. The guided visit provides insight into Bairrada’s history and the evolution of winemaking in the region. Lunch takes place in Mealhada, offering a moment dedicated to the region’s most iconic gastronomy. The traditional Bairrada suckling pig is served at a local restaurant, paired with regional wines that enhance its flavors. A relaxed experience that reflects the strong connection between local cuisine and Bairrada’s wine identity.

In the afternoon, the visit will be to the iconic Luís Pato Winery, located in Anadia, in the heart of Bairrada. Heir to a family tradition with centuries of history, this winery was a pioneer in bottled production in the region. You will learn about the legacy of the Pato family and the importance of the Baga grape variety, the greatest symbol of Bairrada. The experience culminates in a wine and sparkling wine tasting.
Return to Porto
Return to Porto
After a day of memorable experiences, it will be time to return to Porto. The return journey is an invitation to serenity, ideal for reflecting on the aromas, flavors, and landscapes discovered along the way. Drop-off will be at Sá Carneiro Airport, your hotel, or Porto city center, concluding an unforgettable day dedicated to the art of wine and the pleasures of the table.

Full Program:
08:30 – Pick-up at Sá Carneiro Airport, hotels, or Porto city centre;
Transfer to the Bairrada Region; 
10:00 – Guided tour of the Aliança Underground Museum in Anadia, followed by wine and sparkling wine tasting, commented by a Sommelier/Wine Tourism Technician.
12:30 – Regional lunch of Leitão à Bairrada (roast suckling pig), accompanied by regional wines, at a typical restaurant in Mealhada;
15:00 – Stop at the Bairrada Route Association for shopping.
4:00 p.m. - Guided tour of the Luís Pato winery, with wine tasting, including sparkling wines, white wines and red wines.
17:30 - Return to Porto;
19:00 - Drop-off at Sá Carneiro Airport, hotels, or Porto city centre;
End of tour.

Departure days: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Cancellation policy
Cancellation up to 15 days before the arrival date: a 5% fee will be additionally charged;
Cancellation in less than 15 days before the arrival date: 100% of the total amount will be charged;
No-show: you will be charged 100% of the total amount.
