About the Activity
Herdade do Freixo is located in the northeast of the Alentejo, in the village of Freixo, municipality of Redondo, between Serra d’Ossa and Évora. Surrounded by peaceful landscapes and natural beauty, it represents an innovative and sustainable wine tourism project.

The guided tour, led by the resident team, showcases a unique winery in Europe, entirely underground and built across three levels beneath the vineyard. This emblematic space combines engineering, architecture, and respect for nature, revealing the production process and the philosophy behind the estate. The experience ends with a guided tasting of the Freixo Family Collection, the flagship wine of Herdade do Freixo, known for its remarkable elegance and authentic expression of the Alentejo terroir.

For logistical reasons, it is advisable to book 5 days in advance for all experiences with appetizers. 
Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the date of the experience. After this period, there will be no refund.
Notes
Tour hours:
11 am and 3 pm, from Monday to Saturday (October to March).
11 am, 3 pm and 4:30 pm, from Monday to Saturday (April to September).
Closed on Sundays and on the 24th and 25th of December and 1st of January.
