About the Activity
Herdade do Freixo is located in the northeast of the Alentejo, in the village of Freixo, municipality of Redondo, between Serra d’Ossa and Évora. Surrounded by serene landscapes and shaped by nature, it is a project that combines innovation, sustainability, and respect for the Alentejo terroir.

The guided tour, led by the resident team, presents a unique winery in Europe, entirely underground and built across three levels beneath the vineyard. This emblematic space blends engineering and architecture, revealing the concept, the production process, and the philosophy of the estate. The experience ends with a guided tasting of one of the brand’s premium wines, Freixo Reserva Red or Freixo Reserva White.

Cancellation policy
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the date of the experience. After this period, there will be no refund.

Tour hours:
11 am and 3 pm, from Monday to Saturday (October to March).
11 am, 3 pm and 4:30 pm, from Monday to Saturday (April to September).
Closed on Sundays and on the 24th and 25th of December and 1st of January.
