Quinta dos Termos

Located at the east of Serra da Estrela, in Belmonte, Quinta dos Termos is a historical producer from Beira Interior. Family owned since 1945, it is the headquarters of J. Carvalho Family Estates.

Currently, it has about 60 hectares of vineyards planted in granite soils, at an average altitude of 500 meters. It grows 18 red grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Rufete, Jaen, Tinta Roriz, Marufo, Tinto Cão, Alfrocheiro, Baga, Syrah, Petit Verdot, Sangiovese, and 6 white grape varieties such as Fonte Cal, Síria, Arinto, Verdelho and Riesling.

The winery is equipped with sophisticated technology, follows the traditional techniques and is certified in Integrated Production, contributing to the preservation of sustainability.

At Quinta dos Termos it is possible to do several visit and wine tourism experiences.
