Quinta da Tôr

There are many paths in Portugal, but only those who came from the north and follow the path of the mountains or those who come from the south and follow the Algarve coast, arrive at the little village of Tôr, in Loulé.

Near the recognizable image of the village, the Roman bridge, we can find Quinta da Tôr which has the privilege of being inserted in the simplicity of the mountains.

These properties belonged to the same family since 1500 until 2011 when it regenerated with the new proprietary that didn’t ignore the qualities of the land, therefore he recovered the vineyard and built a new winery (“adega”). The micro clime, the low temperatures in the winter and high temperatures in the Summer allow for good and balanced maturation of the 7 grapes varieties that this land has to offer (Touriga Nacional, Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Aragonez, Siria, Arinto, Chardonnay).
