ODE Winery

Founded in 2021, ODE is the ideal name for the project that aims to create a unique tourist experience, while celebrating the natural beauty of the Ribatejo region.

Located in Vila Chã de Ourique, Cartaxo, ODE boasts 100 hectares of cork, olive trees and vineyards. ODE Winery also has an expansion project for a luxury resort, with villas and suites, glamping, restaurants, bar and wellness centre. Adjacent to this property is the winery, which boasts not only breathtaking architecture, but also an events space, cellar door and restaurant.


The Vineyards

In our vineyards, planted in 2004, we can find indigenous and also international grape varieties, all planted in the Tejo region.

Examples are Arinto, Alvarinho, Fernão Pires, Semillon, Viognier, Pinot Gris, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Alicante Bouschet, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlos and Syrah. Organic planting principles are present in all our vineyards, where all treatments aimed at improving the vineyard and soil health are natural treatments.

Our goal for 2025 is for ODE to be fully certified as an organic production.


The Winery

ODE Winery's facilities date back over 120 years.

Now ODE facilities, our winery includes temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, oak vats, stone treading tanks and carvings.

All these different types of deposits help us to produce a wide variety of wines, enhancing the unique characteristics of each variety.

Our cellars are some of the largest in the region – the ideal place to control the ageing of our premium wines.
