Herdade da Comporta
Herdade da Comporta is one of the largest national agricultural properties, with over 12,500 hectares, situated on the Alentejo coast and inserted in the Sado Estuary nature reserve, with rich flora and fauna, forest, dunes, rice fields, beaches, and vineyards. It is a place of unique beauty, where the sun discovers colours of vibrant intensity and the generous land reveals, without haste, its best.
Here, sensations, smells and flavours blend in perfect harmony with the sea breeze and the green of the forest, to form an environmental and ecological heritage of inestimable value. An agricultural and natural reserve, in a privileged location where the blue of the sky, the green of the pines, rice paddies and stretches of dunes and white sand serve as an invitation to a unique experience.
On the wine-growing side, the Herdade da Comporta winery uses cutting-edge technology and manual harvesting, which work together for a perfect balance of flavours and wine experiences.
An immensity of experiences that you can enjoy, come and learn about our history with visits to the winery and wine tasting, guided tours of the rice museum space, wine tourism and wine shop.
