Casa Santos Lima

Casa Santos Lima is a family business dedicated to the production, bottling and marketing of Portuguese wines. It works in the Lisbon, Algarve, Alentejo, Douro and Vinhos Verdes regions. The company produces wines known for their excellent value for money and exports around 90 percent of its total production to more than 50 countries on five continents. Casa Santos Lima is also the largest producer of ‘Vinho Regional Lisboa’ and ‘DOC Alenquer’ and in recent years has been one of the most honoured Portuguese producers in the main national and international wine competitions.

Currently, the company's main facilities (offices, shop and larger wineries) are located at Quinta da Boavista in Alenquer, just 45 kilometres north of Lisbon. This Quinta has belonged to the Santos Lima family for five generations and offers ideal conditions for producing quality wine.
Casa Santos Lima also has its own vineyards in the Algarve, Douro and Vinhos Verdes regions, as well as a long-standing partnership with a producer in the Alentejo region.

Casa Santos Lima has a very broad wine portfolio, producing red, white, rosé, sparkling, semi-sparkling, light and late harvest wines every year in five different regions. This wide range gives the company great dynamism in the national and international markets and allows it to grow steadily year after year. Casa Santos Lima is currently responsible for producing more than 50 percent of all the wine in the country.
