Casa Santa Eulália

Casa Santa Eulália, dating from the 17th century, is located in Atei, in the municipality of Mondim de Basto, and has been in the family for generations. Since 1822, the family has been involved in agriculture and, more specifically, winemaking.

The connection to the land and the taste that comes from it, over time, led the "Pereira e Cunha Marques Leandro" generation to reformulate the property in 1997 and, develop the project of bottling wines under their own brand - Casa Santa Eulália e Plainas.

Technology has enabled Casa Santa Eulália to emphasize the quality of its wine production, while keeping the region's culture alive and maintaining the traditional winemaking process.

All the wine is produced from 45 hectares of its own vineyards, divided into 17 plots. The excellent weather conditions, granite soil and passion for viticulture are the pillars of quality in the production of our grapes. The relationship between the soil and the microclimate gives the type of grape its particularity, representing typicality and identity in the vineyards.

The winery, incorporated into the manor house, represents the close link between innovation and tradition in the winemaking process.
