Adega Maçanita Vinhos

Through its wines, Maçanita Vinhos reveals the diversity of the Douro region's terroir in its purest and most faithful form. Maçanita wines bring each of the Douro regions to the world, the “altitude wines”, the "hot schist wines", the "cold granite wines", the indigenous grape varieties, the old vines, with a non-interventive approach.

Maçanita Vinhos doesn't have a style, it doesn't have its own style, it respects and is a faithful messenger of the Douro's terroirs, a vision of the Douro, "À Maçanita".

At the Maçanita Vinhos winery, oenology has little to do with the winemaking, and the aim is to bring the terroir of the Douro to the bottle. With a diversified portfolio, we produce everything from single varietals such as Touriga Nacional Cima Corgo and Touriga Nacional Letra A, two wines, the same variety at different altitudes: to varietals from old vines at altitude on granite, to Arinto extreme with its pulsating acidity.

Each one is the result of a restless exploration by the Maçanita brothers who, plot by plot, try to convey a distinct language and personality from every corner of the Douro region.
