In the heart of the Alto Douro Wine Region, along the scenic N222 road and at the meeting of the Douro and Tedo rivers, lies Quinta do Tedo, a family estate dedicated to producing DOC Douro and Port Wine, as well as extra virgin olive oil.
Since the 1990s, under the management of Vincent and Kay Bouchard, the estate has been restored, converted to organic viticulture, and modernized, offering wine tourism experiences, a Bed & Breakfast, a bistro, and certified walking trails.
This experience includes a guided tour of the winery, winemaking center, and historic cellars, conducted in a welcoming and familiar approach. The tour concludes with a tasting of 3 Tawny Port wines, accompanied by crackers and jam, held in the tasting room, held in the tasting room — the perfect setting to enjoy and share the flavours of the Douro.
