Quinta do Boição - Pruning Experience

The Enoport Wines Group resulted from the union of some of the oldest and most prestigious Portuguese wine companies, all of them family-owned and each holding a distinct and defined speciality that earned them national and international recognition.

Acquired in May 1983 by Caves Velhas (which later became part of Enoport Wines Group), Quinta do Bução is located in Bucelas, near the Ribeira do Bução, and inserted in the famous Bucelas Demarcated Region, about 25 km from Lisbon, with good accessibility via the A8 and A9 motorways. Located between the banks of the Ribeira do Boição and the River Trancão, it has a total area of 45 hectares, of which 32.5 hectares are planted with vines. The soils are clay-limestone, with an altitude between 87m and 180m and a good exposure to the sun.

Join us and experience a day pruning one of our vineyards. Pruning is one of the essential steps in preparing the vines for the following season and is carried out in winter, when the vines are less active. A unique opportunity that will certainly be enriching.
