Located on the banks of the Douro River, in Ervedosa do Douro, within the municipality of São João da Pesqueira, Quinta de S. José lies in the Cima Corgo sub-region, set on a hillside defined by terraced vineyards and blue schist soils. With 15 hectares of north-facing vineyards, the estate offers a clear expression of the Douro’s terroir and character.

Recognized nationally and internationally for the quality of its wines, Quinta de S. José stands out for the purity of its expressions and its close connection to the land and those who work it. As part of the Falua portfolio, the estate follows an approach rooted in respect for the landscape and the region’s winemaking tradition.

This experience includes a guided walking tour through the vineyards, providing insight into the estate’s natural and viticultural context, followed by a guided tasting of three Quinta de S. José wines. A proposal designed for those seeking an authentic and close connection to the Douro.

    “Moment agréable” La visite a commencé par une promenade dans les vignes avec quelques explications sur les cépages cultivés et le terroir du Douro. Ensuite, nous avons goûté trois vins différents dans un espace simple mais bien organisé. L’accueil était courtois et l’ensemble de l’expérience s’est déroulé calmement.
