About the Activity
Having first appeared in historical records in 1756, Quinta de Nápoles is one of the oldest wine estates in the Douro Wine Region. It has the ideal conditions for producing Douro DOC wines, which are fresh elegant, with extraordinarily complex aromatic profiles. The wine estate comprises 15 hectares of North-facing vineyards, situated at altitudes between 80 and 250 meters above sea level, on the left bank of the Tedo River.

We invite you to visit Quinta de Nápoles, equipped with highly modern winemaking facilities and generously sized cellars for aging wines in vats, barrels, stainless-steel tanks, and clay. In this creative laboratory, the future of the company is drafted as technology meets empirical knowledge and a generous sprinkle of great conversations.

After the tour, it's time to take part in an informal lunch with the Quinta de Nápoles team at the same table, where people, wines, and local gastronomy meet. The menu is seasonal and planned weekly by Dona Maria da Luz. It starts with a traditional Douro soup, a main course, and a dessert or a delicious regional cheese board. You'll, also, taste 4 wines from all the Niepoort regions.

Quinta de Nápoles is closed from the 19th of July to the 3rd of August and from the 13th of December to the 4th of January.
