About the Activity
When visiting the Azores, you can't miss wine tourism activities, in one of the most renowned wineries in Pico, the Cooperativa Vitivinícola da Ilha do Pico - Picowines, and its famous volcanic wines!

Considered “Cidade do Vinho 2017” (Wine City of 2017), the municipality of Madalena, in Pico, has been gaining notoriety and standing out for the uniqueness of its vineyards, distinguished as a World Heritage Site, by UNESCO, in the year 2004, being one of the thirteen wine-growing regions in the world that holds the title of World Heritage.

We invite you to come to Cooperativa Vitivinícola da Ilha do Pico and taste 5 wines. This is a more transversal tasting, which goes through fresh and saline whites, towards reds with spicy notes, ending with a liqueur wine with intense colour, notes of honey and vanilla.

A tolerance of 10 minutes is given regarding the starting hour of the tasting. After this period, the tasting is not guaranteed. It may be possible to take it at the following hour, after confirming availability.
