About the Activity
Gerações da Talha Winery is located in Vila de Frades, in the municipality of Vidigueira, and dates back to the mid-18th century. It is a place of tradition and knowledge, where generations have preserved and refined the art of Amphora Wine.

This family project was created to celebrate and keep alive the genuine production of Amphora Wine, a tradition that has endured for over two thousand years and remains deeply rooted in the wineries and people of the Alentejo.

During this experience, you will visit Gerações da Talha Winery and take part in a guided tour that reveals the history and winemaking methods behind this ancestral craft. The visit concludes with a tasting of four Amphora Wines, paired with regional delicacies.
