Caves Ferreira – “Casa Ferreirinha” Tour

Caves Ferreira invites you to discover a brand with more than 250 years of history and tradition. In Vila Nova de Gaia, where Ferreira Port Wine has aged since the 18th century, you will visit its emblematic facilities, home to hundreds of oak casks and vats.

During the guided tour, you will be invited to explore some of the house’s most emblematic spaces. In the Vintage Room, dedicated to Ferreira Vintage Ports since 1815, you can learn about the story behind each harvest and the remarkable events that accompanied the declared years. At the Ferreira Museum, discover a unique collection of artifacts related to the production of Port Wine, including branding tools and traditional cooperage pieces. In the Tile Room, admire an impressive panel depicting scenes of the Douro and the figure of Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, the greatest symbol of the spirit and soul of Port Wine. 

At the end of the visit, enjoy a tasting of 3 Casa Ferreirinha DOC Douro Wines, in a warm and authentic atmosphere.
